      Veterans Day Tribute

      In observance of Veterans Day, on Monday, Nov. 11, all U.S. military veterans, active-duty service members and a guest will receive free general admission to the museum.

      Join veterans groups, color guards, traditional performers and speakers at our American Indian Veterans National Memorial on the grounds of the Heard Museum for a special Sunset Tribute to veterans of the U.S. armed forces, followed by a dinner reception inside the museum’s Steele Auditorium.

      Sunset Tribute: Honoring Veterans and Veterans’ Families
      Heard Museum, Freeport McMoRan Plaza
      Native Color Guard and Traditional Drum with Special Guest Speakers

      6:00 p.m.
      Annual Dinner & Celebration of Veterans
      Heard Museum, Steele Auditorium

      This dinner reception is free but registration is required. Service and sacrifice spanning more than three centuries are honored in the first and only known national memorial to American Indian veterans of many conflicts.
