The Allman Betts Band performs both new and classic music in a celebration of Southern blues and rock. After a successful year touring as the Devon Allman Project with special guest Duane Betts, the sons of Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts are joining forces to form the Allman Betts Band.
Accomplished singer, songwriter, and guitarist Devon Allman is former leader of Honeytribe and the Royal Southern Brotherhood, as well as the son of the late Gregg Allman, who helped helm one of the most important and influential American bands of the past fifty years. Duane Betts is the son of Allman Brothers cofounder Dickey Betts. The two men have known each other since 1989, when Devon was seventeen and Duane was twelve.
They will kick off 2019 with a new Allman Betts Band album and a worldwide tour that will feature new music, songs from their solo projects, and classic Allman Brothers and Gregg Allman tunes in honor of the fiftieth anniversary of the Allman Brothers Band.
