      2019 Delivering Democracy Lecture presents Eric H. Holder Jr.! Participate in the Community Resource Fair and enjoy the mini-concert by the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church choir preceding Holder's insightful and timely talk.  Free  |  Open to the Public  |  Tickets Required About the Lecture: Inaugurated in 2014, the annual Delivering Democracy Lecture has become one of the most anticipated events at ASU and in the communities of which the university and the center are a part. The lecture invites us all to consider the nature of democracy and the subtle, explicit, historic and contemporary issues that shape this essential national ideal. The Delivering Democracy Lecture features visionary individuals who challenge the traditional boundaries of democratic ideals and address key challenges that emerge around issues of race and democracy. The CSRD envisions the Delivering Democracy Lecture as a safe and inclusive space that enables us to overcome polarization and division. Join us for a memorable afternoon that provides an invaluable opportunity to enhance our shared understanding of the roots and possibilities of democratic striving. An individual registration must be submitted for each person attending as each attendee needs their own ticket. You may use the same email address, but we request that you provide each person's name. Those with duplicate registrations will be contacted.  A ticket will be provided once the registration form has been completed.  Check-in:  PRINT your ticket and bring it with you for faster check-in. You may also access your ticket on your phone to show upon check-in. **Your seat will be held until 4 p.m. At that time, we reserve the right to give any empty seats to walk-up attendees and those on the waiting list.
